Through modification technology, some new properties can be given to traditional polyester (PET fiber) and new polyester (PBT, PTT, pen, PLA, LCP) fibers, so that they have more "professional" technical characteristics. Fiber modification is generally realized by copolymerization, blending, increasing molecular weight, fiber forming, surface modification and so on.

Two component compound

Low viscosity pet (0.48dl / g) is used as component A, which is compounded with component B PBT (1.2dl / g) or PTT (1.2dl / g) in the ratio of 50 ∶ 50 after leaving the surface of the spinning board, and then drawn and shaped. The fiber has "permanent" elasticity of three-dimensional crimping, good spinnability and easy weaving. Composite fibers with good crimp properties and tensile recovery elasticity can also be obtained by using two kinds of PET chips with viscosity difference not less than 0.45dl/g (such as 0.45dl/g and 0.90dl/g).

Skin core composite

The leather core composite short fiber that has been industrialized mainly adopts "boss slit" or "needle tube" two-component composite components, with low melting point polyethylene or low melting point PET as the cortex and pet as the core layer. According to the area ratio of 1:1 concentric circle or eccentric circle section, it can be used for hot-melt bonded non-wovens dominated by polyolefin fiber and PET fiber respectively, and can also be used for special short fiber sewing thread.

Island and lobed composite

The key of polyester island fiber spinning technology is the synthesis of water-soluble modified polyester with "sea" component and the improvement of spinning components to increase the number of single fiber "islands". After fiber opening, the size of "island" component fiber can reach nanometer level.
